Virgin Foodie 4 week basic cooking program starts Tuesday 4th September 2018, 7:00pm – 9:00pm


This is Basic 4 week cooking course teaching all you need to know for survival in the kitchen.
Week 1:  Eggs.
You’ll be learning how to make Bacon and Mushroom Frittata, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, Caesar Salad topped with a poached egg. 

Price includes 4 classes, all ingredients and equipment, aprons and the guidance of our professional chef.
Missed classes cannot be refunded unfortunately.
Price is $300 for 6 classes or $270 with concession card.
Concession card must be shown at first class.

Just left home or living by yourself for the first time and have no idea how to cook? This is a 4 week program for all those people out there who wouldn’t know where to start in the kitchen! Virgin Foodie Cooking Course Detail:

Week 1: The amazing egg
Learn how to poach, fry, scramble, boil and make the prefect omelette in your first week.
Dishes created = Spanish eggs & warm brunch salad with poached eggs

Week 2: Rice 101
This week you will learn all about the different types of rice, cooking ratios, various uses and methods of rice making from steaming to stir frying and chopping.
Dishes created = Risotto and teriyaki chicken with steamed rice

Week 3: Pasta and Breading
Covering noodles across the globe, various cooking techniques and uses for everyday meals.
Dishes created = Chicken Schnitzel with pasta Neapolitan, and spaghetti carbonara

Week 4: Roasting?
Make the prefect roast dinner and learn techniques that you can use on many different other occasions.
Dishes created = Roast chicken with perfect gravy, roasted veg, roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese.

Price includes 4 classes of roughly 2 and a half hours.
