Thai Cooking at Scoffed
We are very fortunate to have one of our chefs visit Thailand before COVID to do a traditional Thai cooking class and she has brought back her recipes and expertise for us to use at Scoffed!
We all know that wine and food go really well together, so we have teamed up with local boutique wineries to bring a bit of colour to our range of fine dining style cooking courses in Adelaide. As well as creating restaurant style dishes, scoffing some amazing food and learning from professional chefs how to cook it, you’ll also taste some delicious local wines that compliment perfectly. Akhi will take you through each of the 5 dishes step by step, teaching you about the ingredients and techniques as well as brushing up your knife skills!
Scoffed school of food and fun is located at 441 Magill Rd, St Morris, 5068 in a purpose built kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience.
We have 6 Ariston 4 burner stove tops, 5 ovens and 2 microwave grills that allow us to provide a hands on experience for each of our guests.
Whilst we are not a registered training destination we pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of cooking, especially the eating of delicious food with friends old and new after each class.
Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, their own apron (and hat if required) to wear for the duration of the class, a work station, equipment, and ingredients to create the dishes learnt in class.
The formal bit!
Please also see below for new COVID-19 terms and conditions.
All guests must wear closed toe shoes and have long hair tied up.
When booking a class with Scoffed you give us permission to use photos for promotional purposes.
Bookings may be transferred up to 48 hours prior, but will incur a $10 admin fee. Bookings cancelled later than this are not refundable or transferable.
Minimum numbers are required to run classes. If these minimums are not achieved then the class will be postponed until the minimums are met.
Scoffed and COVID-19
Now that borders are open it is even more important we stay vigilant to the COVID virus.
As we are a small business, any close contact with someone who has COVID will have a huge impact on our business and result in potential cancelation of classes if our staff have to self isolate.
Anyone exhibiting flu like symptoms is requested to stay home and will not be permitted to enter the Scoffed kitchen.
Here are some things to reassure you about how we do business to keep everyone safe:
Unfortunately bookings are not refundable or transferable unless we have to cancel the event/class.
In this case vouchers or a refund will be provided.
