Each Food Saucerer class in our school holiday program is an aspirational pastry chef’s delight.
Your kids will learn hands on how to cook amazing desserts.
The chef takes the students through each step carefully ensuring the best results. They will learn to work with others as well as picking up cooking techniques and tasting new flavours (and ones they already love of course!)

In this class we will be visiting Italy and making Sfogliatella & Chocolate Mousse from scratch.

Classes may be cancelled with 48 hours notice if minimum numbers are not achieved.
Dress code: Long hair tied up and runners on feet.

Food Saucerer’s Classes:

Our Food Saucerer classes are designed to be more technically challenging and therefore only suitable for children age 9+ who know their way around the kitchen. They don’t need to be Masterchef wannabes, but they do need to have done some baking or cooking before and to be able to work independently under our chef’s instruction.
Each Saucerer’s class is 3 hours in length and teaches magical creations that would stump many adults!
The class is limited to 16 in size with participants working in groups together initially and then breaking out to create their own individual dish.

About Scoffed
Scoffed school of food and fun is located at 441 Magill Rd, St Morris, 5068 in a purpose built kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience.
We have 6 Ariston induction stove tops (each with 4 burners), 5 ovens and 2 microwave grills that allow us to provide a hands on experience for each of our guests.
Whilst we are not a registered training destination we pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of cooking, especially the eating of delicious food with friends old and new after each class.
Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, their own apron (and hat if required) to wear for the duration of the class, a work station, equipment and ingredients to create the dishes learnt in class.
Soft copies of recipes are emailed out to participants after the class.
We try to pair up children based on ability or age to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.
When booking a class with Scoffed you give us permission to use photos for promotional purposes.
Carers are welcome to assist students, but will need to pay 50% of the ticket cost.
Bookings may be transferred up to 7 days prior, and will incur a $10 admin fee. Bookings cancelled later than this are not refundable or transferable. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of each class.
Minimum numbers are required to run classes. If these minimums are not achieved then the class will be postponed until the minimums are met.
All guests must wear closed toe shoes and have long hair tied up.

Anyone exhibiting flu like symptoms is requested to stay home and will not be permitted to enter the Scoffed kitchen.
