Hot and Fast South American (Asado and Churasco) BBQ Guru class
Join our boy from Brazil, Adriano from Rub & Grub BBQ competition team to learn how to cook authentic South American BBQ foods! Where he comes from chicken is regarded as a vegetable, so if you like your meat simply, but beautifully cooked to get the full appreciation of its flavour, this is how it’s done! Not just a national champion Adriano is an amazing cook and story teller who will make sure you leave Scoffed having experienced the best of South America.
Scoffed school of food and fun is located at 441 Magill Rd, St Morris, 5068 in a purpose built kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience.
Scoffed’s BBQ school teaches everything and everyone from basic cooks to specialists, encouraging you to try new foods and different techniques that will improve even the most experienced BBQer! We have 4 Weber kettles, 4 Weber Family Qs and a Smokey mountain that allow us to provide a hands on experience for each of our guests in our BBQ school.
Whilst we are not a registered training destination we pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of cooking, especially the eating of delicious food with friends old and new after each class.
Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, their own apron (and hat if required) to wear for the duration of the class, a work station, equipment, and ingredients to create the dishes learnt in class.
You will work around a BBQ with up to 4 other guests depending on the size of the class, and each group will make every dish on the menu. You can be as hands on or hands off as you like as you work through the challenges set by our qualified chefs.
All guests must wear closed toe shoes and have long hair tied up.
