Scoffed and COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, classes have to operate slightly differently from before.
Anyone exhibiting flu like symptoms is requested to stay home and will not be permitted to enter the Scoffed kitchen.
Bookings may be refunded or transferred up to 7 days prior to a class. Changes to bookings will incur a $10 admin fee and refunds will be provided as a voucher. If we have to cancel a class vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund. If you are sick and cannot attend then as long as we have 48 hours notice we can issue a voucher refund.
About Food Chiefs
Our Food Chief program is designed for your budding chef to spend more time in the kitchen with our qualified chef learning basic skills and techniques. Whether they have cooked before or not at all, the classes will build up skill levels by teaching everything from basic knife skills and how to chop onions to frying perfect omelettes, stir fries or curries, and making pasta, bread or cakes from scratch, to name but a few. Our classes are very hands on, so over the 90 minutes they get to do everything including eating what they have made at the end. Each time they come they get a Food Chiefs stamp which they can redeem for their very own coloured wooden spoon. Once they have collected all their wooden spoons we give them a Food Chiefs’ Hat and Apron. The program is designed in such a way that kids can come to every class or pick and choose which ones to attend. Obviously the more they come to, the more they will learn and the quicker they’ll get their Food Chiefs Hat.
Scoffed school of food and fun is located at 441 Magill Rd, St Morris, 5068 in a purpose built kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience.
We have 6 Ariston 4 burner stove tops, 5 ovens and 2 microwave grills that allow us to provide a hands on experience for each of our guests.
Whilst we are not a registered training destination we pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of cooking, especially the eating of delicious food with friends old and new after each class.
Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, their own apron (and hat if required) to wear for the duration of the class, a work station, equipment, and ingredients to create the dishes learnt in class.

All guests must wear closed toe shoes and have long hair tied up.
When booking a class with Scoffed you give us permission to use photos for promotional purposes.
Minimum numbers are required to run classes. If these minimums are not achieved then the class will be postponed until the minimums are met.
